Tafel_Feine_Bitter

Being a chocolate fan, I am constantly on a lookout for good quality dark ones. And I managed to find them at Fortune Center on level 2, my favourite vegetarian cafe. (They serve awesome wholesome food with big smiles and super affordable prices).

I’ll share more about their savory food in another post, and now talk about the little snack I never fail to buy home.

Vivani Organic Dark Chocolate Bars, They come in dark 71% cocoa $5.60 and dark 85% cocoa $6.80. Tried them both and the best I can accept is 71% as its rich and dark and not super creamy. While on the other hand the 85% bar is way too bitter and there was no enjoyment in the process of finishing the bar.

Ingredients:
cocoa mass*, raw cane sugar*, cocoa butter*.
Cocoa solids: 71 % minimum.
May contain traces of almonds, hazelnuts, milk and wheat

Their chocolate was awarded maximum points by the gourmet magazine ”Savoir Vivre“. And the best part of it all is NO CHILD LABOUR was involved in the cocoa harvesting which is a huge problem in the globalized manufacturing industries of today. On their site, they also share why aluminum foil is necessary to be used in packaging which is something I always wondered. If chocolates are harmful for pregnant ladies and which series of their chocolates are vegan or gluten free.
