I made a resolution this year to be more involved in the arts and have joined Art outreach as a volunteer. This coming Saturday from 11am-1pm, I will be holding a FREE walking tour round the galleries at Gillman Barracks and showing some very unique and interesting art pieces and installations! It’s going to be my first time, hoping my nerves wont get to me but I cant wait as it was such a delight to meet the artists and organizers behind the scene. COME JOIN ME! Here is some more details on this event happening NOW to March 2013.
Are you looking for something a little different to do this weekend?
Join Art Outreach for free art tours of Gillman Barracks. The tours are suitable for the general public and will take you to a selection of galleries highlighting exciting pieces from both local and international artists that best articulate some of the key themes and issues of contemporary art. Come along and find out more about these vibrant and edgy contemporary artworks set against the historical surroundings of Gillman Barracks.
“The tour was fabulous and I thoroughly enjoyed it….This was my first art tour ever and thank you for an amazing first time! It’s like Singapore’s best kept secret.”
