Wok Hor Fun- Veg Talk Vegetarian Stall at Clementi West St 2

It’s during days when you are feeling lazy to travel, you appreciate the food stalls near your neighbourhood. Veg Talk is located at the newly renovated Gourmet Street Kopitiam at Block 710 Clementi West Street 2 Singapore 120701. Run by 2 guys when I visited, they offer daily specials like laksa, mee rebus, mee siam to hor fun and crispy noodles cooked on the spot. They also have economical rice and bee hoon with a good variety of vegetables and mock meat dishes.

While ordering my food, a few customers hopped by and asked if the popiah was available. Even a school boy was asking for it. And I overheard it cost $1 for 3 pieces.

I ordered hor fun $3.50 and it was cooked on the spot by the chef. Saw him cook the hor fun first then the vegetables with gravy. Overall, a big portion I cannot finish but it was choked with really juicy mushrooms, vegetables and my favourite bean curd skin and I loved the smokey wok taste to the hor fun. Wished it was a little less salty though. Will definitely return to try the popiah and maybe the mee siam soon.

They are open Mon to Sat from 9am to 3pm.
