Another lazy start to the weekend as we headed to Veg Talk near our place for brunch.
I had laksa $2.50 and the soup base was quite diluted. They also included an egg, some mock prawns, bean sprouts and tau pok slices. Overall it was quite a forgettable dish I say.
Hubby Ro had economical rice with bean curd roll, braised peanuts, bitter gourd and curry vegetables $3. He thought it tasted decent but not fabulous.
I added on an extra side plate of stir fried cabbages, spring rolls (too much flour and too little ingredients) and bean curd roll too $2.50. We both found the food here quite oily but no complains as we’re grateful there is a vegetarian stall so near where we stay.
They open from 5.30am-3pm when they usually sell out.
