Another random supper craving as we headed to our nearest indian muslim restaurant. This time round, I ordered vegetables prata $3.50 and got a surprised look by the staff. I am guessing not many people order this dish. I asked what kind of vegetables will it be served with it and he replied everything. When it arrived, it was huge and the staff was considerate enough to offer me vegetarian gravy without me requesting for it. Strangely the staff was full of smiles even though we have been to the eatery many times.
The prata was equivalent to 2 and a half plain prata. We were amazed that it came with so many vegetables. From cabbages, green spinach, cauliflower, carrots, peas and corn, every corner of the prata was covered. It tasted like a vegetable pancake or a vegetable omelette without eggs. Because of the greens, we can hardly taste the texture of the prata flour. Thank goodness Hubby Ro ordered two plain prata to share.
Overall, a pretty interesting twist on prata and a healthy option actually. It was quite filling but I still prefer mushroom prata as it feels more like a real prata experience if you know what I mean.
