Nasi Briyani- Tian En Vegetarian Stall at Clementi Central

Was at the library doing some research and decided to have lunch at Clementi Central before doing grocery shopping for dinner. I headed over to Tian En vegetarian stall again and realized they were selling Nasi briyani $3 as their Monday daily special. I usually do not take rice but decided to just try this unique dish usually not found in most chinese vegetarian stall.

My portion was huge for the price. Sadly the only part of the dish that tasted like Nasi Briyani was the curry with monkey head mushrooms which were yummy. The papadum was soggy and the fish bean curd slices were not too bad and actually had a good texture I wished they gave curry vegetables instead or maybe top the yellow briyani rice with some nuts or raisins. The rice tasted like normal white rice and the only greens I got out of this meal was the winter melon carrot soup on the side.
