Vegan Protein Bar- ORGANIC FOOD BAR at Fairprice Finest Thomson Plaza

image

In the past, Hubby Ro used to take protein shakes and bars when he was working out. When I spotted this vegan protein bar at Fairprice Finest at Thomson Plaza I had to get it. Earlier for lunch, he texted me (with pictures attached) and shared his first vegan protein bar experience!

At $5 a pop, I thought it was quite pricey for such a small bar. He told me that normal protein bars (around the same size) sold at most GNC shops starts from $8 onwards and they usually taste plasticky and chalky. Amazingly, this protein bar had a naturally fruity mushy mashed texture and was sweet from the mixture of raisins and dates. Overall, the texture was gooey but good and filled him up. It was easy to chew and unlike the usual protein bars which were also sticky, harder and taste like wet chalk. This was definitely a big change to something healthier and he’s game to stock up on them again.
