Lately, we have been making ice cream for supper or for breakfast wake up calls as they are super easy! With just 3 main ingredients, the ice cream can be ready within minutes.
1. A blender
2. Frozen sliced bananas- As ripe as possible and they must be sliced before freezing! Freeze them for more than 6 hours or overnight
3. Any ingredient you fancy- We have tried peanut butter, strawberry, blueberries, chocolate and the sky is the limit!
It’s definitely not the same as store bought or those found at ice cream parlors. But what we get is a soft serve ice cream most of the time and it does melt pretty fast but it’s so good we often finished them really quickly. Sometimes we want hard ice cream, we just freeze what we have blended for a few more hours and it’s as good as stacked ice cream on cones.
Our strawberry version with a korean strawberry topping, we used about 10 strawberries with 1 and a half sliced bananas. If we want less banana taste, we add more portion of the ingredients we want.
Blueberry ice cream with oats and raisins
Peanut butter ice cream with roasted peanuts sprinkles. I added just 1 teaspoon of peanut butter to 1 banana.
