The Vegan Stoner has got to be the cutest and most adorable vegan site ever! Every single recipe comes with illustrated ingredients and most recipes are super easy and fuss free which are perfect for anyone in a rush. I decided to try out churro chips this afternoon and boy was it SUPER crispy, crunchy and reminds of eating hot churros in winter.
I cannot wait to get my hands on my first ever vegan book buy which combines good food, adorable drawings and simple step by step instructions.
It was a perfect snack to make as we had one lonely tortilla wrap left frozen in our fridge and finally we know what to do with it!
Preheat oven to 200 degrees before starting. Prepare a bowl of vegetable oil about 2 tablespoons and 3 tablespoons of cinnamon and brown sugar. Mix the sugar together.
Cut mini triangles out of tortilla wrap and dip into vegetable oil first and evenly spread the sugar cinnamon mixture all over each piece.
Bake for 5 minutes and watch the sugar caramelize and sizzle.
Served immediately and OMG one of the best chips we ever made and tasted. If you want it to be less sweet, just spread less sugar cinnamon mixture but I doubt it will be as good:)
