Tempeh Buffet & Movie Marathon- Ro’s Aunt place in Jakarta

Remember our post about the grand and super cheap movie premiere seats we got in Jakarta? We watched so many movies in the few days spent with Hubby Ro’s aunt and her family!

Her house was beyond gorgeous and she was so kind to prepare a series of vegan friendly healthy food specially designed and made by her helpers.

We had corn soup with tempeh and tofu on the first day.

For breakfast, we usually add the following power grains to our blended soups.

We were served vegan pancakes too!

For lunch we had a super yummy peanut satay gado gado salad with fried kway teow.

We even had fresh pisang goreng with bananas and apples.

We have vegetables pakoras and more tempeh goodness! Somehow the tempeh in Indonesia tasted so good:)

We also had hummus with naan bread and curry tempeh!

And a special soy laksa soup before we headed off to the airport. We want to thank Ani Aunty for all the effort and love she put into preparing the meals for us. We enjoyed every bite of it.

    • Hi Shereen,

I am not sure where it was brought but we believe you could try looking for them on iherb.com!

I believe Ro’s aunt got the cereal from the US. But I am guessing iherb.com might sell them too.
