Fruit Rojak at Sunny Choice Cafe, Railway Mall

I brought my grandparents  to Sunny Choice at Railway Mall for lunch a couple of weeks back. We ordered a few dishes to share and one of my grandma’s favourite was fruit rojak. It tasted nothing like the usual prawn paste version. It was light and filled with fruits and vegetables like cucumbers, sprouts, pineapple, apples, turnips and much more. It tasted much more sour as compared to the sweet sauce found in most rojak.

We got bah kut teh with brown rice and my grandpa finished every drop of it. The soup was herbal and was packed with lots of ingredients which was great!

My uncle had the nasi lemak set and I liked this dish the most! Somehow, the tofu cakes with the mock beancurd fish went really well together. The sambal chilli also added a great kick to this dish. It was quite similar to lei cha (thunder tea rice) with a slightly exotic flavour.

The last dish we ordered was cold vegetables soba salad. It came packed with fresh vegetables and I like the semi sweet rice crackers that came with it. Most times, when we  dine at Sunny Choice we always end up having smiles of the satisfying meals we have there! I cannot remember the prices to the dishes as we ate them quite a while back. If any one of you know the prices, please let me know so I can add them in. Thank you!
