A couple of weeks back, I attended a gorgeous wedding at Halia restaurant, Raffles hotel by Mei and Min. The sit down dinner menu was really different from most weddings I’ve attended. All guests were encouraged to pass the dishes around to share. As mine was vegetarian, I had a plate of my own each time:) The first course was a yummy pumpkin soup which I was too hungry to snap before gobbling it up.
There were some lovely vegetarian entrees served such as breaded asparagus which tasted like fried dim sum and mushroom salad!
The main course was squash pie which was really yummy. The squash was sweet and went well with the crusty texture with fresh spinach leaves! I am trying to find the best vegan crust recipe but have yet to experiment on it:)
