The Salad Corner- Amoy Street Food Center

I found the cheapest salad in Central Singapore and it’s in the heart of the Central Business district at Amoy Street Food Center. At just $4.90, you get 5 toppings ranging from my favourite mushrooms, corn, beans, olives, tofu cubes, walnut or sunflower seeds and more. And at an extra $2, you get the soup of the day as well or another extra $1 if you want meat such as tuna, chicken or ham in your salad.

It comes in a sizable bowl of fresh greens and comes with so many dressing to try everyday. Here is what I ordered today and in my salad mix I have corn, walnuts, corn, green beans, tomatoes with japanese sesame dressing. They also serve soup of the day and today I had cream of corn and carrot which tasted like comfort food but I suspect it comes from a canned food recipe. Come early before all the ingredients run out and by 2pm they are usually sold out!
